What is Yoga?

Literally, yoga means 'union', and is usually thought of as a union between the mind, body and the spirit. Yoga can help bring an individual health and wellbeing. While there are several different yoga traditions, such as hatha yoga, vinyasa, ashtanga, iyengar, kundalini and bikram yoga, they all are comprised of yoga poses. Yoga traditions range from slow to fast paced, but all yoga traditions have health and spiritual benefits.
